"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them" (Matt 18:20)
What to expect
Our services are filled with live praise & worship, prayer and bible-based teachings. The services are conducted in Bahasa Indonesia and English and usually run for 1 and a half hours.
Extra features
For the midday service, we concurrently operate a Children's Nursery Program for children under 5 years old. And following the evening service, all members are invited to join us for fellowship and dinner provided by the church.
Our congregation
Agape currently has about 350 - 450 worshippers attending each service. The midday service is a diverse mix of youths, adults, young families and mature age worshippers, whereas the evening services are generally composed of youths and young adults. In the past few months, there has been a significant growth in numbers and we praise God continuously for this. It is truly great to watch and experience the Holy Spirit touch and change the lives of many of our congregation.
"Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours"
(Mark 11:24)
The importance of prayer groups
Prayer groups are a great way for us to practice what the Bible teaches us about praying and caring for others. In Agape, they are about putting away our selfish desires and humbly uniting our hearts to pray for our church, congregation members, city care and outreach programs and more.
Throughout the many years our prayer groups have been running, we have experienced many miracles - physical and spiritual healing, answered prayers for work and studies and the work of the Holy Spirit in bringing non-Christians to God.
Just as the Bible has shown us, we can never under-estimate the power of prayer!

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:18)
Want to become more active in church life? Want to learn more about God whilst developing some great Christian friendships? Then cell groups are definitely the way to go!
What is a cell group?
Cell groups are small groups of up to 12-15 people who meet regularly on a fortnightly basis. They are a place where individuals can study God's Word and share life experiences with one another in a friendly and fun environment.
Why should I join?
Surely there is more to Christian living than merely attending Sunday services? Cell groups are a wonderful and exciting way to get the most out of Christian living! They are a great way to:
Learn more about God, build character and develop into better disciples of Christ;
Develop close Christian friendships and learn to pray and care for one another;
Be in an environment where we can support and encourage one another as we grow stronger in our faith.
What to expect
Each of our cell groups are designed differently to meet our congregations' diverse needs. We have cell groups for youths, cell groups for adults, cell groups for families and even a cell group for English-speaking Indonesians.
Generally all cell groups are made up of praise & worship, bible-based discussions & teachings, personal sharing, prayer … and of course, fellowship and fun! Most cells also arrange individual or combined cell group social outings on a regular basis.
